Common Questions
Everything You Need
to Know
How much does a screening cost? ▾
$397 per individual scan, all-inclusive. That covers the mobile visit to your home or workplace, the scan itself performed by an ARDMS-certified sonographer, and a detailed report reviewed by a board-certified cardiologist. No insurance needed, no co-pays, no hidden fees. We also offer multi-scan packages starting at $697 that save 10–15%.
Do I need a doctor's referral? ▾
No. You can book directly — no referral, no prior authorization, no insurance approval needed. If your results suggest follow-up care, we provide everything your physician needs to continue your care.
Where do the screenings take place? ▾
All screenings are fully mobile — performed at your home, workplace, or a partner location across Southern and Midcoast Maine. There is no need to travel to a clinic or hospital.
What happens during a mobile screening? ▾
A certified sonographer arrives at your location with hospital-grade ultrasound equipment. The scan takes about 45 minutes, is completely painless (no needles, no radiation, no prep), and you can resume normal activities immediately.
How quickly will I get my results? ▾
Within 24–48 hours. A board-certified cardiologist reviews your images and prepares a detailed, plain-language report delivered directly to you. No waiting weeks for answers.
What cardiovascular screenings do you offer? ▾
We offer echocardiograms, carotid duplex ultrasound, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screening, peripheral arterial ultrasound, venous duplex ultrasound, and renal artery duplex ultrasound. Wellness bundles combine the most clinically important scans for specific risk profiles, starting at $697.
Is this the same quality as a hospital screening? ▾
Yes. We use the same Mindray imaging technology found in accredited hospital labs, and every scan is interpreted by a board-certified cardiologist. Our sonographer holds both RDCS and RVT credentials from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography — the same certifications required in hospital settings.
Is the sonographer certified? ▾
Yes. All screenings are performed by Emanuel Papadakis, RDCS, RVT — ARDMS-certified with 20 years of cardiovascular imaging experience. Every study is reviewed by a board-certified cardiologist before your report is delivered.
