Transportation Shouldn't Determine Who Gets Screened.

Home care patients are among those with the highest cardiovascular risk — yet they face the greatest barriers to accessing diagnostic imaging. Transportation challenges, mobility limitations, and care coordination complexity mean critical screenings are routinely delayed or skipped entirely.

BlackPoint Diagnostics closes this gap by bringing fully equipped, hospital-quality ultrasound directly to each patient's home. We coordinate directly with your care team, provide HIPAA-compliant results within 24–48 hours, and give your nurses and physicians the diagnostic clarity they need to act.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does BlackPoint Diagnostics work directly with home care physicians?
Yes. We accept referrals from any licensed physician. Your patient's attending physician or NP can order the study directly, and results are sent to them via our HIPAA-compliant reporting system. We can also work with agencies where the care coordinator facilitates the order.
What equipment do you bring to the patient's home?
We bring a full portable ultrasound system with all required transducers for each modality ordered. The only requirement is a power outlet. The patient does not need to move from their bed or chair in most cases.
How are results delivered to the care team?
Written reports from Dr. Gandelman are delivered via our HIPAA-compliant email service within 24–48 hours of the scan. Reports can be delivered to the referring physician, home care agency, or both.
Can BlackPoint provide ongoing monitoring for chronic conditions like heart failure?
Yes. Repeat echocardiograms for CHF monitoring, interval AAA surveillance, and serial vascular studies are all available. We can establish a recurring schedule aligned with your agency's care plan intervals.
Is there a minimum volume requirement for agency partnerships?
No minimum is required to access our services. However, agencies with consistent volume can access preferred scheduling and custom pricing. Contact us to discuss your expected needs.
