Dr. Glenn Gandelman is a board-certified cardiologist with subspecialty certification in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, and additional certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease.
He earned his MD from New York Medical College and an MPH from Cornell University, completed residency at North Shore-LIJ, and fellowship at Westchester Medical Center. He holds academic appointments as Associate Clinical Professor at New York Medical College and as Clinical Instructor at Yale New Haven Hospital and Cornell University Hospital.
Every BlackPoint study is reviewed by Dr. Gandelman the same day it is performed. Patients receive a cardiologist-authored written report within 24–48 hours — the same quality of interpretation they would receive following a hospital-ordered study.
Each session is conducted via secure telehealth video. Dr. Gandelman reviews your BlackPoint results and provides clear, actionable guidance — from your home, on your schedule.
Dr. Gandelman walks through your report in detail — what was found, what it means, and what's normal vs. what needs attention.
Understand your personal cardiovascular risk profile in context of your age, history, and lifestyle — not as a generic statistic.
Specific, actionable next steps — lifestyle changes, monitoring frequency, and whether specialist referral or follow-up imaging is warranted.
Guidance on how to share findings with your primary care physician and what questions to ask at your next appointment.
HIPAA-compliant video from any device. No travel required — attend from your home, office, or anywhere with a connection.
One transparent fee — no facility charges, no surprise billing. Add a consultation to any screening package for comprehensive care.
No insurance authorization. No surprise billing. One fixed price — paid once, results delivered.
A consultation works best when paired with a BlackPoint screening — Dr. Gandelman will have your imaging results to discuss. If you have recent cardiovascular imaging from another provider, you're welcome to bring those results too.
This consultation is designed for preventive guidance and results interpretation — not managing active cardiac conditions. If you have an ongoing cardiac diagnosis, continue seeing your treating cardiologist. This service complements your existing care team.
Any smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and internet connection works. You'll receive a secure video link by email before your appointment. No app download is required.
Consultations are self-pay — this keeps the process simple and free of prior authorization requirements. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds for this service.
This consultation is focused on results interpretation, risk assessment, and preventive guidance. If medication or formal diagnostic testing is warranted, Dr. Gandelman will advise you to follow up with your primary care physician or a treating cardiologist.
