The completed referral form can be brought to the appointment or emailed to emanuel@blackpointdiagnostics.com (via our HIPAA-compliant email service). We travel to the patient's home, workplace, or a partner location — no hospital visit required.

Cardiologist Report Within 24–48 Hours

All images are reviewed and reported by Dr. Gandelman, board-certified cardiologist at Greenwich Cardiology. Written reports are emailed to the patient within 24–48 hours. A copy is sent directly to your practice upon request — simply indicate this on the referral form or ask the patient to mention your name when booking.

Clinical guideline notes: USPSTF recommends one-time AAA screening for men aged 65–75 with any history of smoking (Grade B). ACC/AHA guidelines recommend echocardiography for evaluation of suspected valvular disease, heart failure, and cardiomyopathy.

Is this self-pay only?

Yes — BlackPoint is a direct-pay service. No insurance billing, no prior auth. This is what makes next-day scheduling possible. We provide itemized receipts with CPT codes that patients can submit to their insurer for potential reimbursement.

Can reports come to my office?

Yes — with the patient's consent, we route a copy to your practice via HIPAA-compliant email. Just include your office email on the referral or ask the patient to mention your name when booking.

What if my patient needs urgent imaging?

Call us directly at (207) 409-7797. Same-day appointments are often available for urgent referrals.

Which modalities are available?

Echocardiogram, carotid duplex, AAA screening, venous duplex, arterial duplex, and renal arterial ultrasound — all available individually or as bundled packages.
