BlackPoint Diagnostics partners with skilled nursing facilities and long-term care communities to bring comprehensive cardiovascular ultrasound directly to your residents — reducing unnecessary hospital transfers, supporting your clinical team, and delivering cardiologist-reviewed results within 24–48 hours.
A single scheduled visit from BlackPoint Diagnostics can serve multiple residents efficiently. We work with your Director of Nursing and Medical Director to prioritize residents, schedule back-to-back studies in a designated room, and minimize disruption to facility operations.
CHF monitoring, dyspnea workup, new murmur evaluation, atrial fibrillation — ejection fraction and valvular assessment
Post-stroke or TIA workup, prior to carotid procedure, hypertension with neurologic symptoms, new cognitive decline
DVT workup for new leg swelling or pain, immobile residents, post-surgical surveillance, anticoagulation monitoring
Resistant hypertension, declining renal function, diabetic vascular disease, PAD with wound healing concerns
Diagnostic clarity from on-site ultrasound allows your medical team to manage more conditions in place — reducing costly and medically risky hospital transfers.
Cardiologist-reviewed cardiovascular imaging supports quality metrics, care plan documentation, and demonstrates proactive clinical management to surveyors.
Residents stay in a familiar environment. Family members appreciate the elimination of stressful transport. Staff spend less time coordinating external appointments.
This depends on the studies ordered and resident availability. In a typical half-day session, we can complete 4–8 studies. Full-day sessions are available for facilities with larger volumes. We work with your scheduler to maximize efficiency.
A private room or treatment area with one electrical outlet, and a staff escort to bring residents to and from the scanning room. We bring all equipment, supplies, and documentation materials.
Reports are sent to the ordering physician or NP, and to the facility medical director if directed. Each report is a separate document per resident and is delivered via our HIPAA-compliant email service. We do not share results with insurers or facilities without explicit authorization.
Yes. Having documented cardiovascular diagnostic studies in resident records — with board-certified cardiologist interpretation — supports comprehensive care documentation. Contact us to discuss how our services align with your quality metrics.
Individual scans are $397 per study, all-inclusive. The cost of a single non-emergency ambulance transfer — plus facility staff time and the clinical disruption — typically far exceeds this. Contact us for agency-volume pricing.
