Four steps.
Under 48 hours start to finish.

01

You send the referral

Two options — whichever fits your workflow. Referral pad: hand the patient a pre-printed slip from the pad in your office. Online form: submit directly from How to Send a Patient in under 2 minutes. Either way, no prior authorization, no fax, no phone call required from your side.

02

We contact your patient directly

Within one business day of receiving your referral, we contact the patient to schedule their appointment. We coordinate timing, confirm the scan location (home, office, or facility), answer their questions, and handle all pre-appointment logistics. Your staff is not involved in this step.

03

Scan performed — same day if needed

Emanuel Papadakis RDCS RVT performs the ultrasound at the patient's chosen location. We bring all equipment — portable table, medical-grade machine, gel, privacy supplies. The scan takes 20–45 minutes depending on modality. All studies are performed to ARDMS standards with full Doppler imaging.

04

Report delivered — to patient and your office

Dr. Glenn Gandelman MD FACC reviews the study the same day it is performed. A complete written report is delivered within 24–48 hours via HIPAA-compliant encrypted email. With the patient's consent, a copy is routed directly to your office so you have findings ready at the next appointment.

What the report
includes

Every report is authored by Dr. Gandelman and formatted for clinical utility — findings, measurements, and a clear clinical impression you can act on at the next visit.

  • Full clinical findings with measurements and normal ranges
  • Cardiologist's clinical impression and interpretation
  • Recommended follow-up or further evaluation if indicated
  • Patient-friendly summary included for shared decision-making
  • Delivered via Paubox HIPAA-compliant encrypted email
