Which ultrasound scan do I need?

It depends on the symptom. Breathlessness, palpitations or a murmur point to an echocardiogram. Stroke-like symptoms or brief vision loss point to a carotid duplex. A pulsing sensation in the abdomen points to an AAA ultrasound. One swollen leg points to a venous duplex. Leg pain when walking points to an arterial duplex. Blood pressure that will not come down points to a renal artery duplex.

How much does each scan cost?

Every individual study is $397 all-inclusive in Falmouth. Packages that combine studies range from $697 to $2,197.

Do I need a referral?

No. BlackPoint Diagnostics does not require a physician referral for any study. You can book directly.

Can I have more than one scan in the same visit?

Yes. The packages exist for that reason and cost less than booking the same studies individually.
